Douce France, is a French Language Centre run by our French family since 2013 and located in Wadeville (near Nimbin), in the beautiful Northern Rivers region of NSW.

Surrounded within 5 acres of subtropical vegetation, our French learners evolve in a convivial, sustainable and family atmosphere on-site. This is a unique opportunity for a French getaway without the jet lag. Join in games, role-plays and hands-on activities... all in French of course!

If you can't make it to our place, we have you covered too. We offer online tuition via Zoom and will develop a wider range of online programs, so that you can learn French where and when you want.

Coucou, I'm Aurélie, the French teacher at Douce France.

I am a qualified teacher with 15+ years' teaching experience both in Australian bilingual schools and with Alliance Française, a French organisation whose aim is to promote the French language worldwide.

As a French native, I know what it takes to learn another language and how frustrating it can be at times.

From my teaching and personal experience, I have developed a method that will facilitate your French learning journey. It follows gradual milestones, a logical/simplified approach to the French language as well as insights on the French culture.
